My Story

Imagine this: In February 2024, amidst showers of rain, a small figure was discovered on the outskirts of town. It was Georgia, adorned in a vibrant pink harness and leash, standing tall amidst the dreary landscape. Despite her captivating appearance, there was an air of sadness about her, as if she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders.
No owner stepped forward to claim her, leaving Georgia stranded and alone. Yet, despite her traumatic past, there was a spark within her-a resilient spirit yearning for love and companionship. Georgia was an inside dog at one time before she became lost and no one claimed her. She is crate trained and has some obedience and retriever training.
Georgia’s foster mom became a beacon of hope in her darkest hour. With unwavering determination, she embarked on a journey to mend Georgia’s shattered trust in humanity. Day by day, with patience and perseverance, she worked tirelessly to restore the faith that had been lost.
And Georgia? Despite her initial wariness, she soon blossomed into a gentle soul-a love bug, as her foster mom fondly called her. Her interactions with other dogs were filled with joy, her tolerance of cats admirable, and her interactions with children aged 10 and up, heartwarming.
With each passing day, Georgia’s confidence is growing, her timid demeanor transforming into one of assurance and affection. And as she wagged her tail with newfound happiness, it became clear that with a little positive reinforcement training, Georgia would make the perfect addition to any family-a beacon of resilience and love in a world filled with uncertainty.
