My Story

Surge and his siblings were found as 2.5 week old puppies living in a ditch with their feral mama in a rural town we help. There was a hurricane coming to the area, and we knew they wouldn’t survive the flooding. One of our kind fosters picked them up and she’s kept them safe and healthy. Now, Surge and his siblings are old enough to find forever families of their own.
Surge has done great with the small, medium and large dogs in his foster home. He is also being fostered with children as young as five. He likes to play with any type of puppy toys and loves to be held.
He is crate trained with a sibling and puppy pad trained. We think his dad is Australian Cattle Dog, and his mom is a wire haired terrier/chihuahua mix around 20 pounds. Surge weighs 6 pounds. He is 9 weeks old and will likely be medium sized when he’s full grown.
Surge has been vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
He will arrive in the Pacific Northwest on 8/11. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
