My Story
Meet Skipper. He is a sweet little guy who needed rescue immediately. He was terrified of everyone, especially in any new surrounding. His first night of being in our foster home; he slept in his crate and watched his surroundings to make sure he was safe, after his first day; he was then able to check his new surroundings and began to come out of his shell. He made friends with the other dogs and soon became very friendly and ran around the fenced yard with the other dogs barking and having a ton of fun.
A home with young children would definitely not be a good choice for him due to his past fears & lack of socialization, he would do best in a home with another dog and not a large human family.
He was originally in a ‘home’ with way too many animals and was not outside much to enjoy life, he is now being housetrained. He is a quick learner but we cannot say he is totally reliable. He bonds very quickly with his person and loves being cuddled every night.
Consider him as your new best buddy of yours looking for a smaller size senior dog who wants and needs a forever companion to love him, he’s never been loved until now.
