My Story

Meet Macaroni, a tiny 14week-old black Chihuahua mix weighing just 6 pounds. Macaroni and his brother were rescued from the Central Valley, where they were heartlessly discarded in a box in a dumpster. Fortunately, they were found and brought to safety and are now thriving in foster care.
Macaroni is super spunky and loves to play, often pretending to be tough despite his small size. He has a big personality packed into his tiny body and will likely grow to about 12 pounds when fully grown. Smart and eager to please, Macaroni is still very much an infant and needs a family that can commit time to his training, exercise, and socialization.
Currently, Macaroni has no formal training, but he will be ready to go to his forever home by the end of June once he is neutered. He will need to continue his vaccinations for about another 8 weeks until it is safe for him to go out in public.
The ideal home for Macaroni would have a yard and another  dog to help teach him the ropes. If you’re looking for a spirited and lovable companion, Macaroni could be the perfect addition to your family. Help Macaroni find the loving home he deserves!
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. In the event your application isn’t accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other  dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to.

All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, serving as a non-refundable donation. Adoption fees may vary based on factors such as vetting costs, transport, and age.
