My Story

We sat down with Aniwodi aka “Ani” for a rapid fire interview so that everyone could get to know him better.
The dogs in your foster home:
“I love my foster brothers and sister. They play with me!”
View on cats:
“Not sure what that is.”
Kids:
“I think kids are great playmates. I know a few, ages 5-10.”
A few of your favorite things:
“Un-aliving my squeaky toys. Truck rides. Yummy treats. Zoomies in the yard.”
Favorite pastime:
“Tummy scritches from the 2-legged friends.”
Favorite toys:
“Any toys that make noise when I shake them.”
Best physical trait:
“I have extra soft fur. Oh, and my silky ears. They are fabulous.”
Best personality trait:
“I am still really just a silly, bouncy, flouncy puppy.”
Skills:
“I know ‘sit’ and am learning to walk properly on a leash.”
Any special talents:
“I am adorable. I don’t really need much more than that.”
Couch potato or walkies:
“Both. Great at couch potato. I have been practicing.”
This kiddo is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).
** Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
