My Story
Meet Marlee!
Meet Marlee, a 1.5-year-old tortoiseshell kitty with a heart of gold, waiting for her forever home. Marlee”s journey began as a stray, but thanks to a kind rescuer, she spent several months learning to trust and love humans in a safe and caring environment before coming to the shelter.
Marlee is a quiet and gentle soul. She might be a bit shy and nervous at first, especially with new changes, but give her some time and patience, and she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. She allows gentle pets and enjoys playful moments once she feels comfortable.
Marlee is looking for a loving, patient adopter who can provide a quiet and predictable home. She will need her own room for a few weeks when she goes to her furever home. She needs a stable environment where she can continue building trust and feel safe. With the right person, Marlee will flourish and show her true affectionate and playful nature. If you are looking for a pair adoption, she can be adopted with Brynn, who was found and socialized together with Marlee. If you have a resident cat, Marlee will need a long, slow introduction but only after she is comfortable and settled. We do not recommend households with children under 12 or dogs.

Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.
