My Story
RAFIKI and his brother arrived at the shelter in mid May 2024. They are listed as a mixture of Catahoula and Terrier with an estimated age between four and six months. This little fellow is very curious and has high energy typical of a puppy. However, he has now been at the shelter long enough to be considered a young dog. He will be considered an adult when he reaches one year of age. He weighed 26 pounds at Intake. RAFIKI has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
