My Story
The game is afoot! Sherlock Bones came into our care after being left behind from an eviction, and though we may never know much about his past, Sherlock Bones is focused on solving more important mysteries: like who his forever family will be!
Don’t let his “cage shark” behavior fool you- though he is prone to jumping and barking while in his kennel when you get this dog outside he is a friendly, happy, goofy pup who melts hearts and is eager to make friends with people and other dogs! Sherlock has had a blast joining in on some of the doggie playgroups. He has a chase and wrestle style of play and would likely do best in a home with another active dog to help him burn some of his energy off! At the shelter Sherlock needs to be in a covered kennel so he does not try to climb out if bored, so adopters may need to supervise him in a fenced yard.

Sherlock Bones is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. Dog Adoption Fees:
Puppies – 4 months and under: $200
Adult Dogs – 5 months and over: $95
Senior Dogs (7+ years old): $50
