My Story
Meet Sissy, a 1.5-year-old Poodle weighing 16 pounds. Found as a stray. She is a big foodie, she loves any treats offered. Sissy is not a barker, is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides. She enjoys quietly roaming the yard and doesn’t mind spending time alone. Sissy tolerates other dogs but prefers they respect her personal space. She would do best as an only dog. She’s a super silly girl and a volunteer favorite! She loves to cuddle!
From Sissy’s foster mom:
– She Doesn’t bark, even when the door bell rings .
– She Does great in the car
– Knows how to use the steps really well. She just gets so excited because she knows that means we are going for a walk, so I kept telling her to go slow down the steps.
– She is house trained…no accidents.
– She has her little moments where she gets a bit of energy but for the most part would lay next to me and just sleep.
– She wants to be sitting or sleeping next to me at all times.
– She does great on the leash!
– When we would walk past others with dogs, she would stop and stare but wouldn’t get worked up
– Didn’t try to run out the door when you open it
– A great companion and loves all the pets and cuddles!
Adoption fee is: $400
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
