My Story
Rochester NY based but willing to transport:
Your heart breaks when you find a cat that is one of many and there are not enough homes for them all. This kitten in July 2023 road from Genesee County Museum to Hilton, NY in the chassis of a small car. The finder of this kitten noticed Wren in her driveway about 30 minutes after she arrived home. She was about 5-8 weeks old and was a kitten of a stray hanging around the Museum.
The Finder reached out to Duffy’s and we spayed and gave her all the medical care she needed. We found a foster home and continued to look for a home. We had hoped a young daughter of the finder would take the kitten when she moved to her own apartment. In the meantime, the Grandmother who was fostering passed away suddenly. We have a tragedy of losing a grandmother and now Wren is homeless again.
The finder can’t house the cat as she has two aggressive dogs that would injury and hurt Wren. One of the reasons she bunked with the finders grandmother.
Wren is just 1 year old, microchipped and test for feline diseases (Neg), spayed, no fleas and wormed. She is darling, likes to push toys around and can be found watching TV with you by your side. A very affectionate little girl who is again homeless.
The donation request is love and long term commitment. We are in Rochester, NY but if this is a love connection by picture, we will overturn rocks to get her to you.
